Getting ready to cut the large hole in the rear tray to accommodate 40 Li Ion 90Ah cells

A battery box will fit into this hole
The petrol tank was under here....

Now to fabricate the battery compartment.....

Starting on the motor adaptor plate....

Matt blacking the template....

What happens here??
This template will now be scanned and converted to a vector based DXF computer file....
This DXF file will then be given to a laser cuter and a 1/2" thick Aluminium plate
will be produced to the correct size complete with holes.
