I met a bike rider on the ferry who convinced me to ride back into Victoria (rather then take the bus again)  saying it was a nice comfy flat ride - which it was.  He had a flat tire shortly after leaving the ferry terminal so I headed off myself trying to get back before sunset......

Note the signs on the highway in this photograph.... they are normally not allowed but these are on first people's private land and they make income from allowing this advertising!

The Lockside trail goes from the ferry terminal to the start of the The Galloping Goose trail (when you get closer to Victoria)

Bronze statue of a local ex mayor......

The tax payers most have loved him

Some of it is a lovely trail......

It's very well done

As early mentioned on the site, this part of the trail is very busy.....
