Having a beer with my cousins - George and Betty
This article is from the local newspaper "The Times Colonist" (The name of the paper is in keeping with the English theme here...) Thought Alan and the other riders might like to see this..... The Galloping Goose Trail is a fantastic bike track (about 100 Km all up I think) that runs along an old railway right of way, part of it is used by commuters riding into the little city of Victoria. They estimate 4,000 to 5,000 people use it each day! The part closer to the city is a bit dangerous because of all the bike traffic and people walking on the track, so they are talking about making it 4 lane.
