From Calgary Airport

Leaving the Rocky Mountains on the Airporter Bus to Calgary (Alberta) on route to Kelowna (British Columbia)

Passed heaps of these trucks loaded with this plastic pipe (PVC?)

Apparently the booming natural gas industry in Alberta can't get enough of it, it is now used in place of steel pipe for transporting the gas to the big USA market?

Now in the 'Foothills' (what the locals call gentle hills) just outside the boom town of Calgary

It's 4 degree's outside!

The guy with the bald head in the back must be feeling it.......

(The price you pay to be cool my man)

The beautiful view from Calgary Airport towards the Rocky Mountains

I'm sitting looking at this view as I post this page - feeling amazing lucky to have been able to do the bike riding here......

Another view from Calgary Airport towards the downtown area of Calgary
