Victoria - The 2005 MX-5 Mark III

The 2005 MX-5 from the back.....

The Racing Beat (California design) shape is more pleasing then this shape but still looks good

The 2005 MX-5 now has a grill..... but looks cheap

And pushed out fenders (guards for Australian reader) just like the RX-8 big brother.....

Everything is new in the Mark III

Battery up front now, motor pushed back (and at a slight angle) and gearbox shifter appears to be moved forward?

No spare tyre anymore......

The 2005 MX-5 Interior - No more 'Marilyn Monroe' dash humps....... very American now

The 2005 MX-5 now has sort of a Rollbar  but not a triangulated design (better then nothing but serious safety minded sports car fans will still need to add their own approved rollbar.....

The 2005 MX-5 Top (or Hood) - This is neat and a big improvement

One lever action for operation now..... does mean all the MX-5 hardtop out there will no longer work!

Also 'Frankenstein' bolts are no longer included for hardtop fitting.....
