Heading into the more hilly rural areas and villages

The kids in this little village were very excited to see strange looking people.....

In fact they were jumping out of their skins!

Interesting way to say hello......

And a group kite flying......

Also happy for me to stop and say "ni hao" and then laugh with me (or at me - never sure)

followed by "wo cong ao da li ya lai" (I'm from Australia)

Another happy chap with a colourful machine.....
