This is a drinking vessel was used by Chin She Huang Di (China's First Emperor)

Servants were not allowed to remain close to the Emperor.... So they watched him drinking from this vessel and when the two points on the cup got close to his cheeks, they knew the cup would soon need refilling. Very clever!
