Lounge Room Make Over 2008

The last coating lasted an amazing 16 years.......

Bruce has now refinished all the enamel paint work to keeping with the original 1950's style of the house.

Sue organized to have the three piece lounge recovered again in traditional fabrics.

The "down filled" sofa is close to 50 years old and hard to replace now

The chairs made by the same company (Moran - Melbourne) are 25 years old

The floor has beautiful colouring and interesting grain patterns

And all this thanks to Jim's Christmas $40 toy helicopter present to Bruce......

Now after spending $250 on a training Helicopter (counter blade style - a Blade CX2)

and a month on a computer simulator, Bruce can now hover and fly basic circuits

Hopefully within 3 months he will graduate to a real  "Tail Rotor" style Helicopter more $$$.

These things are the ultimate challenge!!
