This Museum is famous for its Titanic collection

Halifax was the key player in trying to recover bodies from the disaster

The Titanic section of the museum 

Finally found the remains of the Titanic in 1985! 

The local Bedford Institute of Oceanography is still heavily involved in research on the vessel 

This is a model of the Mackay Bennett that was the largest of three ships that headed out to the area after the sinking

It found so many bodies that many had to be buried at sea.....

Many of the items found floating are on display here.....
