We will now try and island hop on the local barges.

The islands are ideal to bike around

We will stay here riding for a few days and partake in the Canada Day celebrations on the 1st of July 

Campobello is well know for being the summer home of the Roosevelt Family

This summer home was completed in 1885

An excellent Museum is located here

It is claimed to be  the only International Park in the world!

As a child, FDR spent his summers here (usually 2 1/2 months)?  Not very often after he became President.

To get here they travelled by train from Portland to Bar Harbour and then took a steamship to Campobella

The summer home has 34 rooms
