The outdoors shower - shared with the wild life.....

The odd lizard and monkey.....

No Internet, telephone and occasionally no power......

So this is used as the emergency calling device!

Just in case an unwanted guest arrives.....

They have the market cornered in snakes (but not many above ground at this time of year)

Great monkey (Common Langur) and bird watching from our deck.

A large monkey came up and looked in our window.....

"Going on a tiger hunt

and I'm not afraid

got a gun and six bullets

by my side......"

The 5 AM start to the safari was a bit difficult but by 10 AM when we returned, the heat was punishing.

Reni Pani is a 20 minute Jeep ride from the Satpura National Park enterance

Hand farming is still the way of life in these rural areas

People who work in the fields live in the fields in makeshift shelters......
