Flying from Paro to Bumthang can be very unreliable
Mainly due to the high altitude and weather conditions in BumThang

We ended up playing a waiting game for hours!

We waited a day to get a break in the weather
but conditions were considered to dangerous and the
flight was finally cancelled

The airport staff were amazing and could not do enough to make the
wait as easy as possible

The airstrip is so short and conditions flying into the narrow valley
are so bad the they can only fly with 20 passengers

In our case it was like a private flight!!!
