As mentioned here - LC-CA1215P1 would be a good final choice if only an hour or two use is required
Li-ion cells being the better choice if dollars aren't an issue

Will try this base arrangement to start with.....

With feet positioned as shown.....

Fresh hummer-tone finish on the alloy rims.....

And some of these 12.5" x 2.25" slick tyres coming from a vendor on eBay ($20 a pair)

These have a much more rounded shape then the weathered old flat style tyres that came with the chair

Less contact surface area and a smoother tread pattern should help for this project
