I have decided to do a "proof of concept" before designing something more polished for the end product.
This will consist of a space frame steel tube structure under the two old motor mounts as shown in the following photographs.
The structure above this holding the batteries, the electronics and the foot platform
will simply be made of wood.
This photograph shows the old motor mounts which can be reused for the prototype.....
Three mounting points with grade 8 HT bolts and nuts.....
I will invert the mount as shown here.....
These mounts will sit on a fabricated space frame type frame providing the base platform for everything else....
Hopefully the 55mm clearance will work.....
(The main object is to keep the platform as low as possible)
