VW Transporter - The Camper Conversion - Bringing the exterior back to better than new condition.....

Three van windows have now been removed and the minor rust has been sandblasted and rust proofed correctly. The necessary repainted will happen this week as well.

(When the windows where added back in 2002 the freshly cut metal edges did not get primed correctly - basically poor workmanship...)

This is unfortunate as the body of these vehicles are actually galvanised when made!

One of the rear window lips now cleaned up and ready for final treatment

(The Red arrows show the area were water has been trapped over the years)

The windscreen has been replaced at some stage with an after market product?

The rust areas as a result will also be repaired and prepared correctly

Front lip treated and ready for top coats.....

Rear windows also ready....

The Red arrows indicate the location of the holes for water and electrical inlets 

Some minor panel damage repaired at the same time....
