Starting the curtains

VW Transporter - The Camper Conversion - Starting the curtains.....

After considerable discussion, Sue and I decided rods would be the best option....

I made the rods from 10mm round 6060 T5 natural anodised Ali tubing supplied by AI Industries

(Little standoffs were made as shown above with one end having a radius to match the 10mm curtain rod itself)

Small anodised Ali angle was used to make a centre support bracket

Screws and hardware will be S/S were possible....

Prototype looks like this.....

A second rod was positioned to act as a retainer for the bottom of the curtain....

The anodised surface allow the material to slide very smoothly....
