Port Hardy to Prince Rupert - Page 1

Port Hardy near the north end of Vancouver Island

Slept over night in the ferry car park because of the early morning ferry sailing......

This car ferry (made in Germany) is only four years old

The nose lifts up via two huge hydraulic rams.....

The route - Port Hardy to Prince Rupert via the "Inside Passage'

Next we plan to cross the Hecate Strait to Haida Gwaii

(Was called the Queens Charlotte Islands when Sue and I went to school in Canada)
