Very smooth crossing on the Northern Expedition

Rain held off till an hour out of Prince Rupert..... 

This large Humpback whale put on a great show......

After they breach they dive vertically down!

Again - With the other side of its large tail showing......

Many old fish cannery along the way

Plus many waterfalls as shown on the right of the old cannery......

Typical scenery in this part of the world.....

Small communities are located on some of the islands.....

We are looking forward to Haida Gwaii - amongst other things it has the worlds best tradional totem carving
